Since November of last year, we’ve been participating in the First Friday art walk in our studio and gallery on Glenwood, and it’s always so much fun! People stroll through our building, have a glass of wine and look at LOTS of incredible art by photographers, painters…. you name it.

A little while ago I came up with an idea that would allow me interact more with the people that were taking the tour – First Friday Photos. People who visit the studio pose for a few minutes (only if they want to) and I take some fun relaxed photos. I wasn’t sure if the idea would be well received or not – but the first night we did it people LOVED IT!

Anyway – I would love for everyone to come out and have fun with this. There are so many great artists downtown displaying their work. Occasionally there’s even music! It’s just a really great time. Oh – and there’s no sales pitch and no hassle in my studio. I take the photos and publish them in a slideshow on my site for people to view at home. I’m not doing this to make money. I do it because it’s as much fun for me as it is for all my new friends who come into the studio and let their hair down!
